An online discussion was organized on December 27 to address the challenges faced by people who are currently working in the department of Child Rights across India, especially Bihar. Our director Prita Jha was also invited to speak in this meeting regarding the same. She talked about the need to challenge the culture of silence. Convictions and the constitutional validity of the death penalty were also some of the aspects which were discussed during the webinar. She also mentioned to focus on the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse through awareness sessions and various other platforms. Issues regarding Shelter managers, sensitization of authorities and child welfare committees were analyzed during this webinar.
